Red Velvet Waffles-bakeitout
Hello! here I am with another red velvet recipe nothing but waffles.Red velvet waffles warm and fluffy and are perfect for making any morning special!.So lets get started.....
INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups all purpose flour
-2 tsp baking powder
-2 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp salt
-4 tbsp melted unsalted butter
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-3 large eggs
-1 tbsp red food coloring
-1 1/2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
-2 cups butter milk
PROCEDURE:
-In a bowl take flour, salt, baking powder and baking salt and whisk it well.
-In another bowl take brown sugar and butter and mix it well together.
-Separate the egg whites and egg yolks and mix the egg yolks in the brown sugar mixture very well until combined.And then add butter milk and mix them well.
-In another bowl mix cocoa powder and red food coloring into paste and then add your batter to it and mix well until there are no lumps left.
-And then put the wet batter into the dry ingredients and mix the batter well until there are no lumps left.
-Fold the egg whites into the batter which should be beaten until fluffy and then folded into batter.
-Then heat the waffle maker and spray it with oil and then spread a cup of batter(quantity based on to cover the waffle mould fully) and cook it according to the directions of the waffle maker.
-Your waffles are ready serve it with cream cheese frosting(recipe available in my recent posts) or whipping cream or ice-cream of your choice.Enjoy!
