Red Velvet Lava Cake-bakeitout
Hello! here I am with a recipe nothing but Red Velvet Lava Cake sounds interesting and yummy.A simple recipe for an out-of-this world comfort dessert with ooey-gooey center.So lets get started.....
INGREDIENTS:
-8 oz white chocolate
-225g butter
-200g sugar
-4 large eggs, at room temperature
-4 large egg yolks, room temperature
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 ½ - 2 tbsp red liquid food coloring(according to the color you require)
- 27g natural unsweetened cocoa powder
-100g all-purpose flour
PROCEDURE:
-Melt the butter and white chocolate in the top of a double boiler or microwave for 1min until it melts and mix it for every 20 secs .
-Whisk the eggs and egg yolks in a bowl.When doubled in size and fluffy slowly add vanilla extract and sugar little by little and whisk until fully incorporated.
-Add food coloring, vanilla and melted chocolate(be careful it is not hot so that your egg gets cooked) mixture while whisking continuously.
-Sieve the cocoa, flour into the eggs mix. Gently fold in the dry ingredients to the batter and stir until just combined.
-Shift the batter into the moulds and bake for 18 to 22 minutes in a 175 preheated oven until sides are baked and centre is still soft so that the lava remains(if it is over bakes the lava will turn into cake so be careful).
-Let the cakes rest for 5 minutes, then invert them.
-Serve the cakes immediately(or lets the lava gets cooled) with ice cream and dusted with sugar(optional)
