Red Velvet crepe-bakeitout
Hello! here I am with another red velvet recipe nothing but red velvet crepe filled with cream cheese and whipped cream.This french street food is going to be an easy quick recipe when you are in a hurry.So lets get started...
INGREDIENTS:
-1 1/2 flour
-1 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-5 tbsp sugar
-2 cups buttermilk
-1 1/2 cup milk
-1 egg
-1 tsp vanilla essence
-2 tbsp cocoa powder
-1 tbsp red food coloring
-pinch of salt
-3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-8 oz cream cheese
-3 tbsp powdered sugar
-whipping cream
PROCEDURE:
-Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar in a bowl.
-In another bowl whisk together butter milk, milk, egg, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, food color, salt, butter.
-In batches add the dry ingredients into the mixture and mix util well incorporated.
-For filling of the crepe, in a bowl mix cream cheese and sugar.
-In a pan over medium heat, pour ⅓ cup of the batter in the center and swirl the batter around the edges of the pan until set.
-Cook 30 secs per each side of the crepe.
-Cook until the edges are starting to slightly crisp.Cover the crepes after removing them from the heat to make sure they remain moist.
-Spread the cream cheese filling and then whipping cream, dazzle some chocolate sauce.Roll the crepe and dazzle some chocolate sauce.
