Red Velvet Cake-bakeitout

Hello! here I am with another new recipe nothing but a red velvet cake with great flavor due to the combination of ingredients layered with cream cheez frosting and eye catching/attracting color. So lets get started...

INGREDIENTS:

-155g cups flour

-8g cocoa powder

-2.5g baking soda

-2.5g tsp salt

-56.5g room temp unsalted butter

-150g sugar

-1 eggs

-110g vegetable oil

-2.5ml white vinegar

-5g vanilla extract

-120g buttermilk

-15g red food coloring gel

-250g room temp cream cheese

-150g chilled heavy whipping cream

-2.5g vanilla extract

-78g powdered sugar

PROCEDURE:

-In a large first sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and whisk to combine.

-In another bowl combine butter with sugar and then slowly whisk eggs one at a time. Then add oil, vinegar, vanilla extract and buttermilk. Incorporate dry ingredients until well combined.

-Gradually add red food coloring until the desired color is reached.

-Then shift the batter into two 4.5 inch cake pans(no.of layers you require for your cake) greased with butter.

-Bake for about 30 minutes in a 180c preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

-Remove the cakes from the pan after the pans cool and let them cool completely.

-To prepare the frosting sift the powdered sugar. Beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.

-In another bowl whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

-Cut the tops of the cakes to create flat surfaces. Make crumbs out of the left pieces of cake and set aside.

-Spread evenly with a bit less than half of frosting on first layer. Add the second layer of cake. Gradually spread the remaining frosting on top and sides of the cake.

-Decorate the cake with remained cake crumbs if desired.

Serve at room temperature.(leftover frosting can be covered and refrigerated.)
