Crispy Chocolate Marshmallow Brownies-bakeitout
Hello!here I am with easy and yummy recipe nothing but-Crispy Chocolate Marshmallow Brownies, perfect treats for any occasion. Fudgy brownies topped with a thick layer of gooey marshmallows and a crispy chocolate rice layer.Best for children's birthday party and even great bites for chocolate lovers.So lets get started...
INGREDIENTS: -40g semisweet chocolate
-1/4 cup (56g) butter
-1/3 cup (70g) sugar
-1 tsp instant coffee
-1 egg
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/4 cup (30g) flour
-130g marshmallows
-120g chocolate, semisweet/milk or a mix of the two
-1/3 cup (90g) heavy cream,
-1 cup (20g) rice cereal/puffed rice
PREPARATION:
-Melt the chocolate and butter on double boiler, stirring occasionally, until smooth or in microwave for 1 min.After it get totally melted add instant coffee, stir in the sugar. Cool slightly.
-Add the egg into the mixture(batter should not be hot, else egg may get scrambled) and whisk until well combined.Add the vanilla extract, flour, salt, cocoa powder and stir well.
-Pour the batter into baking tin lined with parchment paper and coated with butter.Bake for about 18-20 minutes in 180c preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs sticking to it.(don't over bake it as we have to bake it again by topping with marshmallows).
-Bake for another 3 minutes by topping with the marshmallows.Adjust tho marshmallows evenly.Leave it to cool completely.
-Prepare the chocolate rice topping by melting the chocolate and heavy cream together on a double boiler or you can heat the cream separately until it starts boiling and then add chocolate, keeping aside for 1min and then stir continuously until chocolate melts completely.
-Then add in the rice cereal and spread on top of cooled brownies.Serve it chilled by refrigerating it, at least for 2 hours.Enjoy!
