Caramel tarts-bakeitout
Hello! here is another no bake recipe for all of you nothing but caramel tarts for all those chocolate and caramel lovers, you need nothing but simple ingredients available in any house.So lets get started...
INGREDIENTS:
-24 chocolate oreo cream cookies
-4 tbsp butter, melted
-1½ cup sugar
-½ cup water
-½ cup heavy cream
-½ teaspoon vanilla extract
-½ cup heavy cream
-3/4 cup dark chocolate
PREPARATION:
-Add oreos to a food processor or mixer and process until you reach a fine crumble or you can even shift them into a zip lock and beat it with a roti roller or other until you reach a fine crumble.
-Add butter to the cookie mixture.
-In a cupcake tin, put a spoonful of the cookie mixture and freeze it.
-In a medium saucepan, heat sugar and water until amber brown. Do not stir! Take off the heat and pour in the heavy cream carefully (as it causes sugar to boil) and vanilla, stirring until caramel forms.
-Quickly pour caramel into the cookie crust(as it sets quikly) and let it sit until caramel is firm.For atleast 5 mins.
-Heat up the heavy cream until boil and add it to the dark chocolate and let it sit for some time and stir it until smooth mixture.
-Pour a spoonful of chocolate over the caramel and then refrigerate for an hour or until the chocolate is firm.(You can even pour these all layers in a tart tin and serve by cutting it into pieces.I prefer to make in a cupcake tin as these small size caramel tarts will be handy easy to surve and we can carry any where.
-You can even top it with sea salt to balance the sweetness.Serve it and enjoy!
