Croissant-bakeitout
Hello! everyone I am here with another new recipe croissant.A buttery pastry which is everyones all time fav with a cup of coffee in the morning breakfast. Wan't to try it? so lets get started.
INGREDIENTS:
-600 g flour
-1 1/2 tbsp yeast
-6 tbsp sugar
-390 ml warm milk/ room temperature milk
-250 g softened butter
-1 tsp salt
-1 egg yolk
PROCEDURE:
-Take half of the milk(it should not be hot otherwise your yeast may die), add yeast and sugar and mix until they get dissolved. Then cover and rest for 5 mins until yeast raises.
-Add flour, salt and the remaining milk. Knead the mixture well until it forms soft dough.
-Cover and leave it atleast for an hour.
-Take the dough and cut it into 18 equal pieces and roll the dough out. Spread butter on each layer after layer by placing them one on the other like a pile.
-Cover it in clingfilm and put it in freezer for about 30 mins
-Take out and start rolling until it becomes 1/2 inch thick and then cut into 12 pieces like a pizza and make a small cut in the blunt end if the triangle.
-Then start rolling in a front motion fron the blunt end of the triangle into a croissant shape.
-Allow the dough to raise for 30 mins
-Brush the croissants with egg yolk mixture.
-Then place them in a baking sheet and bake them for 20 mins.
-Serve them with a cup of coffee:)
