No-bake Oreo tart- bakeitout
Hello! everyone there, my dear people I am here with another new recipe to make your tastebuds happy.
Now let us think something different. Do you ever feel to eat something cool and a chocolate related dessert and you don't have a microwave, then you should try this. So let us start with it....
INGRIDIENTS:
-300 grams crushed oreo cookies
-100 grams chopped oreo cookies/strawberrys
-150 grams melted unsalted butter
-400 grams dark cooking chocolate(if you like to have more sweet then you can even use milk chocolate or white chocolate but I prefer to use dark one)
-150 milliliters thickened cream(35% fat content)
PROCEDURE:
-Add 300 grams of oreos to a food processor or mixer and process until you reach a fine crumble or you can even shift them into a zip lock and beat it with a roti roller or other until you reach a fine crumble.
-Add melted butter and mix or process until well combined.
-Add the crumble mixture to 30cm rectangle or 20cm round tin or even a pie tin(I use a pie tin so that we can know the height till which we should shape the sides of the tart) .Press down using palm.Shape it so that it covers the bottom and sides evenly.Place it in the fridge for 20mins or so until it firm up.
-While, prepare chocolate filling: Add dark chocolate and cream to a bowl and cream, microwave for 1min 30 secs at a time, stirring each time until mixture is smooth or even you can melt it on a stove in a double boiler(double boiler is where you keep a bowl with water on the stove and another bowl on it with the chocolate in it where it melts due to the steam coming from the water) we follow this method so that the chocolate does not get over cooked or burnt.
-Pour it into the pie shell and sprinkle with roughly chopped oreos or if you like fruits you can substitute them with chopped strawberry. Place it in the fridge for 4 hours, or overnight, or until it gets hardened like if you touch it, it will be firm to chill before serving it.
Try it and enjoy it believe me it will become one of your favourite.
